Yes, your initial investment covers the training and maintenance fee for a full year. Net prize money earned by the horse will be paid out at the end of the year in proportion to your share holdings. However, there is no guarantee that the horse will earn prize money.
Share prices are based on the lease price for a fit racehorse for one year, acquisition costs (like insurance and transportation), training fees (including feed, wages, and entry fees), and management fees for Slieve Foye Syndicate.
Yes, as long as shares are available, you are welcome to buy more. The availability of shares will be clearly stated under each horse.
Once you have purchased shares, you own them until the end of the year. It’s not possible to sell shares secondhand. If you don’t wish to continue owning shares in Slieve Foye Syndicate, simply don’t buy them again next year.
